Our standard is simple: AI can assist the work. It cannot replace the truth. Everything Virro publishes remains our responsibility, whether AI played a role in creating it or not.
Virro AI & Creative Transparency Policy
Why we use AI
Virro is a small team building products, software, education, and a brand at the same time. We use modern tools, including artificial intelligence, to help us work faster, explore more ideas, and create more useful content.
We believe using new technology and being transparent about it can coexist.
Our standard is simple: AI can assist the work. It cannot replace the truth.
Everything Virro publishes remains our responsibility, whether AI played a role in creating it or not.
How we use AI
Research and education
We may use AI to help find topics, organize research, summarize source material, identify questions worth answering, or create early drafts for blogs and educational content.
AI is not treated as a source of truth.
A human reviews and edits our published content, and factual or technical claims are expected to be supported by appropriate source material, engineering information, testing, or subject-matter expertise.
Writing and creative development
We may use AI for brainstorming, outlining, drafting, editing, headline development, concept exploration, and other parts of the creative process.
We do not publish AI output simply because a tool produced it. A member of the Virro team reviews, edits, and takes responsibility for the final work.
Lifestyle imagery
We use AI-assisted creative tools for some lifestyle imagery and visual concepts.
That can include creating an environment, extending or modifying a background, compositing elements, or using generative tools in ways similar to modern photo-editing software.
When generative AI is used to create or alter any part of a published image, we aim to identify that image as AI-assisted.
Depending on the use, you may see labels such as:
AI-assisted lifestyle image
AI-assisted visual
AI-assisted video
When a real Virro product render appears inside an AI-assisted lifestyle scene, we may use:
AI-assisted lifestyle image. Virro product shown from CAD-based render.
Our product images are different
Virro's product renders are created from the actual CAD models used to design our products.
They are digital renders, but they are not AI-generated interpretations of what our products might look like.
We do not use generative AI to:
-
change the dimensions or proportions of a Virro product
-
invent product features or components
-
show functionality the product does not have
-
create a more favorable version of the product than the one we intend to sell
-
alter engineering details in order to make a marketing image more appealing
AI may be used around a CAD-based product render — for example, to create or edit the surrounding lifestyle environment — but we do not use it to redesign the product itself.
Video and motion
We may use AI-assisted tools in video production for concept development, visual environments, editing, effects, animation, or other creative elements.
When generative AI materially contributes to a published video, we aim to identify the video as AI-assisted.
The same product-truth standard applies: AI-generated creative elements do not change the specifications, capabilities, construction, or representation of the Virro product being discussed.
What AI does not get to decide
AI does not have final authority over our:
-
product specifications
-
engineering information
-
test results
-
performance claims
-
scientific conclusions
-
customer reviews or testimonials
-
regulatory guidance
-
warranties or policies
We will not knowingly create fake customer reviews, fabricated testimonials, invented test results, or fictional evidence and present them as real.
When something needs to be measured, tested, sourced, or verified, that information should come from the real world.
Human review
A person is responsible for what Virro publishes.
AI may help with an early draft, image, edit, research pass, or creative concept, but we believe human judgment still matters — especially when the subject is technical, scientific, environmental, regulatory, or related to a product someone is considering purchasing.
Our team reviews AI-assisted work before publication and corrects it when we find something wrong.
Why we're telling you
AI-generated content is becoming part of everyday creative work. We don't think pretending otherwise builds trust.
We also don't believe using AI means a company has to become generic, misleading, or disconnected from the things it actually builds.
For Virro, these tools are there to help a small team do more thoughtful work.
They are not a substitute for engineering, testing, experience, evidence, or people.
Use the tools. Tell the truth.
